I got into Jungle/DnB in
94. I use to play Jungle Mania tapes at skool along with a bit of happy
hardcore, me and a few mates use to mix up clips on a double tape deck so I
guess that's what first gave me the Jungle bug...
It wasn't till 99/00 that I
started going to free parties and raves.. At the time my sister was going
out with Dawg who use be part of the TNT dancers. He took me to my first few
dances in London, and introduced me to some people...
I first got into the scene as
an mc and I managed to blag my way onto an Ellis D set at Dreamscape as well
some local parties.. Around 2000 I got a set of decks and then gave up the mc'ing
because I it wasn't really me...
From 2000 to 2004 I played at
a number of local events and free parties... I also linked up with Focus
through Shoezman. At the time Focus (Enterprise Krew) was playing in London
and Germany for Little Joe (Music Vision) He helped me out, and got me some
sets. In 2002 Dawg stared N.S.U.C - Never Seen Us Coming, as a dance
group following on from his time with TNT. I also did a dj course at Guildford ACM, and started messing around
with production.
In 2005 me and Focus decided
to form a crew and try and push ourselves. We built a webpage and internet
radio station, and after alot of drinking and useless names for the crew we
decided to carry on the hard work and networking Dawg had put in and we took
over at N.S.U.C
Since we took over I have
played at numerous events up and down the UK, and Germany... big up everyone
who has booked me...
Also special shouts to Dennis
(Phantom Warrior) and the Wetzlar Crew, and everyone who has sent me the
dubz, much appreciated!!! keep em coming...
